The 4.5 ft heavy duty dog fence posts are made of galvanized steel and black vinyl coating, which blends-in nicely with our dog fences. These posts are 1 5/8 inch in diameter to provide maximum support for your dog fence. The 4.5' posts come equipped with seven ground sleeves to anchor to the ground. The ground sleeve is pounded in the ground until the top is flush with the ground surface using a drive cap (not included - you will need one for every 21 posts). Then, the fence line post will simply slide into the sleeve. We suggest spacing line posts every 15 to 20 feet. Easy to follow instructions are included for guidance.
