Trident Extruded Fence VS TENAX Fence

by Jenn Smith March 18, 2020

More often than not, DeerbustersCanada customers want to know the different between two types of plastic deer fence. DeerbustersCanada.ca offers a Trident Extruded Plastic Fence With Reinforced Bottom Edge and TENAX Fence. So, which is better?

Both types of poly deer fencing are virtually the same when looking at specs. The fence meshes are just under 2" x 2" in dimension; they both contain breaking strengths between 500-1400 pounds; and they will last up to 20 years outside in all types of weather patterns.

The uniqueness comes from the Trident Extruded Deer Fence with the Reinforced Bottom. The horizontal strands at the bottom help stake down the fence and will protect ground crops from nosy wildlife.

Both types of fence are durable but not chew-resistant for deer management in gardens. They are good fence choices for home gardeners who wish to keep away Bambi and friends while not dealing with rabbits, coyotes and anything else that chew or dig.
