Rabbits Will Eat These Plants

by Jennifer Smith March 28, 2018

We all have our favorite foods; and rabbits are no exception to the rule. They tend to eat leafy goods; but they will not say no to the following trees, shrubs, veggies and herbs:

  • Carrots
  • Lettuce
  • Broccoli
  • Peas
  • Spinach
  • Asters
  • Lilies
  • Coneflower
  • Pansy
  • Tulips
  • Apples
  • Hydrangeas
  • Maple
  • and more...

Gardeners planting these spring flowers and vegetables need to take the necessary measures to get rid of rabbits from gardens. Build a steel fence for rabbit control and bury the fence at least 6" inches deep to stop burrowing efforts made by rabbits.
