Protect Blueberry Bushes From Wildlife.

Growing blueberry plants is a labor of love (taking 3-4 years to produce fruit); but if patient, these fun-sized treats make a great tasting snack that can be enjoyed in desserts and side dishes. When growing blueberries, farmers will need to take precautions to protect the plants from deer and birds. If deer fencing is not in the budget, consider draping blueberry bushes with bird netting.

Using a bird net keeps out birds from above while stopping whitetail deer from indulging on freshly planted fruits. Bird netting is lightweight and affordable consisting of extruded polypropylene that will resist corrosion and weather damage, is UV-stabilized for longevity, and incredibly easy to handle and install.
