Albino deer are neat to see; but you may be surprised to learn just how special it is to see this type of deer.

White deer are not as common as you think; in fact, one in every 100,000 deer births may result in an albino whitetail. Sadly, albino fawns may not survive pass their first birthday. 

Albino white-tailed deer are a genetic phenomena that carry many symbolic meanings. Native Americans believe that seeing a white animal is a sign of prophecy and great spirit. The white color is also a sign of good thoughts; purity of the soul; kindness; and creativity.
