Don't Build a Chain-Link Fence. Here's Why.

by Jennifer Smith May 08, 2018

Chain-link fences have their appeal when homeowners think about building a fence on a lot of acreage. This type of fence is affordable; but  in other words, it's cheap. Let's be honest, it's not the prettiest type of fence on the market. It will cheapen the look of your landscape; and because it rusts, it will cheapen the strength and quality of the fence. Over all, chain link is cheap.

Pet owners may consider buying chain-link fences to fence in dogs; but the the rust could get into the mouths of dogs and cause health problems. Why not get a metal fence with PVC-coating to protect the chewing dog and the fence material?

Homeowners already know they want a metal fence - that's why they were attracted to chain-link fencing to begin with; but the cons outweigh the pros.
