Deer Fencing For Pet Security

Pets are not just companion animals; but they are members of the family; and as such, we want our pups and kitties to stay protected at all times. There are many factors to consider when thinking to install pet fencing in yards such as the size of the pet; their energy level; and any approaching wildlife that may cause alarm.

If deer or other wild animals approach properties more often than they should, it may be better to buy deer fence rather than a traditional dog fence. The reason is simple: height.

Deer fencing is higher than plastic and metal dog fences. Dog fencing, for one, goes up to 6 feet high. Cat fencing can rise to 7.5' feet high; but a deer fence can go as high as 8 feet. Height matters when it comes to plant and pet security.
