Cannabis Farmers: Protect Weed From Deer

by Jennifer Smith October 17, 2018

Cannabis users rejoice as the Canadian government gives the green light on cannabis usage across all Providences. And, while cannabis users are beyond excited by the thought of 24/7 recreational use of marijuana, deer are also excited to taste-test a new crop.

This is why weed farmers need to protect 'the goods' from white-tails by installing deer fencing. It's true, deer like eating weed. And, yes, they will get high.

It's surprising, and honestly comical, that deer pass out near weed plants after consuming them. But, since the weed industry is serious business that brings in serious money, marijuana farmers need to do what they can to protect marijuana plants.

It doesn't matter which fence material is chosen, be it poly or steel; just be sure that the height is 7.5 to 8' feet high.

The height of deer fence on marijuana farms will determine whether or not deer get high or not.
